Visitor visa (Subclass 600)

The Visitor visa is a temporary visa that allows individuals to visit Australia for tourism, business, or to visit family and friends. It is a commonly used visa for short stays, typically for up to 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the purpose of the visit and the applicant’s circumstances.

There are a few streams in the Visitor visa:

• Tourist stream (apply outside Australia)

• Sponsored family stream
• Frequent traveler stream

Work and Holiday Visas (Subclass 462, 417)

This visa lets people from certain eligible countries who are 18 to 30 years old (or 35 years old for some countries) to come to Australia for an extended holiday and work here to help fund their trip.
